Activation Band

Activation Bands, sometimes called Glute Bands or Mini Powerbands, are a versatile resistance band that can be used within a workout or as a warm-up. Made from latex rubber and 55cm in circumference, they are designed to be worn above or below the knees to help activate your hips, glutes and hamstrings, and target areas in your glutes that would normally not be trained under a regular exercise regime.

When used on an abrasive surface bands can deteriorate quickly and snap. Bands should be inspected regularly for any visible wear and tear. In case of visible damage, please remove from use and replace immediately.

Bands are recommended to be used at a max. of 100% stretch (e.g. 27.5cm band should only be stretched to 55cm). Stretching beyond this limit is dangerous and not recommended.

Power Band

Originally created to assist or increase resistance when performing exercises, Power Bands are now being used in ever more challenging ways. Whether you call them power bands, power loops, fitness bands or resistance bands, they help athletes overcome speed or sticking point issues by pinpointing muscle groups. Adding to their functionality they can also be used in rehab or warm-up as a stretching tool to increase range of motion.

Skipping Rope

The ATHLIV Skipping Rope is an extra light weight speed rope built to last and perfect getting your heart rate up. It is adjustable in length and the handles are wrapped with soft foam for a comfortable grip.

Before using the rope, check the rope length and adjust as required. The rope length can be adjusted by removing the end caps and then adjusting and cutting off the excess rope with pliers. Finish the ends with a knot so that they don’t slip out of the handles and replace the end caps.

Plastic sliding disc with padded surface, can be used to glide or slide on carpet, turf or astroturf for a range of exercises to improve core strength and stability.
